Inspired by the ancient sanskrit rasa theory, I have decided on a monochromatic visual where each set has its own colour. The protagonist, Shakuntala’s home, the sacred groove’s colour is green, while her love’s the king Dushyant’s city’s colour is the terracotta red. The complementer colours represent their connections and how they are doomed to fail their relationship. The dissolution of this visual tension is the last set, the mountain top, with its greys and whites, where the lovers meet after years of seperation.
