Entry to the ArtStation challange Feudal Japan: The Shogunate- Character Design (2018) The challange was to desig eight characters (Samurai, Shogun, Daimyo, Ninja Peasant/Villager, Folklore Ghost/Monster, Geisha, Emperor); each of tem telling their own story with their clothing, adornments, and gestures. Costume Design for ‘Shakuntala’
Színház- és Filmművészeti Egyetem, first year project 2017 In the traditional indian theatre the backdrop is merely indicated by the coloured fabric, while te costumes were often quite eleborate. Inspired by this, I have decided on a monochromatic visual where each set has its own colour, while complementary to this, the costumes also indicate the emotions of the character based on the ancient sankrit rasa theory.
